vineyards. Warm fermented and then carefully aged in

oak for 18 months. The wine is rich, dark, full

| The grapes for this wine came from two Nelson vineyards, one on alluvial gravel loam and one on glacial clay gravels. They were hand picked and warm fermented. After pressing, the wine was matured in seasoned French oak barrels for 36 months. Made from 4 barrels of Merlot to 1 barrel of Syrah, the result is a finely balanced and well integrated wine that will continue to improve for many years. | |||
